This is one of the easiest and fastest made Bhaji.
2 Cups Cabbage.(Finely chopped or thickly grated).
1 small Potato,washed,de skinned and sliced.
3 Chopped Green chillies.
1 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp asafoetida(hing)
5-6 Curry leaves.
1 tsp haldi(turmeric powder).
1/2 tsp Sugar.
2 tbsp Grated Coconut.
1 tbsp Chopped Corriander.
1 tbsp Oil.
Salt to taste.
Clean,pat dry and chop kobi thinly.
Heat Oil in a pan.
Add musterd seeds,asafoetida,Curry leaves,turmeric and green chillies.
Add washed and chopped potato and kobi.
Add salt,sprinkle little water if required.
Cover and let it cook for a few minutes.
Add grated coconut ,chopped corrinder and sugar.
Serve hot with roti of your choice.
Tip:Chopped potatoes, green peas or soaked chana dal can also be added to this bhaji.Dont cook this bhaji too much,semi cooked crisp kobi makes this bhaji taste nice.
