Suki (Dry) Batata Bhaji

This bhaji is mostly made on day of fast,goes well with puri or chapati.Can also be had on its own.

Ingredients:

4 medium sized potatoes boiled,peeled and chopped into small pieces.

1 tbsp Oil.

1 tsp Ghee.

1 tsp Mustard seeds.

1 tsp Jeera seeds.

1/4 tsp Fenugreek seeds.

1/4 tsp Asafoetida.

1/4 tsp Haldi powder.

1/2 tsp Sugar.

6 Curry leaves chopped.

2 Green chillies chopped.

2 tbsp Coconut grated.

1 tbsp Corriander leaves chopped.

Juice of half lemon.

Method:

Heat oil and ghee together in a pan.

Add mustard seeds,jeera,fenugreek seeds,asafoetida,curry leaves ,green chillies and haldi powder.stir well.

Add chopped boiled potatoes,salt and sugar.Mix well cover and cook for 2 minutes.

Add grated coconut & chopped corriander leaves.

Switch off the gas and add lemon juice.Mix well and serve hot with puri or roti of your choice.
