Very famous fish from northern India.
2 cups washed,soaked and cooked (till 5 whistles) Chick Peas.
1 packet Maggi Bhuna Masala (with ginger & garlic)
1 tsp Everest chole masala.
½ tsp Red chilli powder.
½ tsp Dhana jeera powder.
½ tsp Kasuri methi.
½ tsp Haldi powder.
1 tbsp each juliens of tomato, green chillies and ginger.
Salt to taste.
2 tbsp Onion paste.(onions fried in little oil till brown)
1 tbsp Oil.
In a thick bottom pan,heat oil,add magi bhuna masala.If not available you can use chopped 1 Onion,1 tomato and 2 tsp ginger garlic paste.
Add chilli powder,dhana jeera powder,chole masala,haldi powder and sauté well,sprinkling little water.Add juliens of green chillies, tomato and ginger.
Cook for a minute,add cooked chick peas with water.
Add salt,let come to boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
Add crushed kasuri methi and onion paste,mix well.
Cook for another 5 minutes on slow flame.
Serve hot with bhature,poori aur roti.
