This is my creation from leftover Poha, recently when I had visited my mom’s place, she had made poha for breakfast, my mom makes yummiest poha…but this time though poha turned out very spicy….little too spicy, so thought of adding some potatoes and making some Pattice and to my deight, they turned out very well….here goes the recipe
Ingredients :
2 cups kande Pohe(https://sameeraskitchen.wordpress.com/2012/06/05/kande-pohe/)
1 cup boiled and mashed Potatoes.
1/4 cup Corn Flour/Rava (fine)
salt to taste.
Oil for frying.
Method :
Remove pieces of chillies from the prepared poha.
In a big bowl, mix together Poha, mashed potatoes, grated coconut and salt. (Salt only for potatoes as poha already has salt in it).
Sprinkle little water if required to make a soft ball out of this mixture.
Now make small tikkis or Pattice out of this mixture.
Roll these pattice in cornflour/rava.
Shallow fry these pattice on griddle using oil from both the sides .
Remove on absorbant paper.
Serve hot with imli and pudina chutney.
Happy Cooking !!
