Mithai Muffins.

If you are on look out for simple cupcake recipe,this one is just for you.

A few days back I had seen this recipe on one of the food group,,and was waiting try my hands on it…that one was with egg….Ihave recreated the eggless one and trust me it tastes amazing…

So here goes the recipe…..


230 gms Maida.

200 gms Sugar.

1 tsp Baking Soda.

1/2 tspn Salt.

1 cup Milk.

1 tbsp White Vinegar

1/2 cup Oil/melted Butter.

1/8 tsp Cardamom Powder.

pinch of Saffron.

½  tspn Ras Malai Essence.

¼ tspn Lemon Yellow Colour

Dried Rose Petals and slices of Pista and Almond for garnishing.


Preheat oven at 180 degree C.

Line the cupcakes tray with cupcake liners (paper cups)

Grease using oil or melted butter.

Mx all dry ingredients (maida,baking soda and salt)in a bowl.

In another bowl mix all the wet ingredients milk,oil and vinegar)

Add wet mixture to flour mixture and mix well till its well blended,do not over mix.

Add cardamom powder, saffron, rasmalai essence and colour,mix slowly till everything is well combined.

Fill each cup about two third full with prepared batter,top up with rose petals and dry fruit slices.

Bake in pre heated oven for about 25 minutes or till toothpick inserted in centre of cupcake comes out clean.

Remove it from oven and after 5 minutes remove cupcakes on wire rack and let them cool completely.

Store in air tight jar and serve when required.
