Manchurian is an ever popular chinese dish which is really easy to make.Here I gave replaced vegetable balls with boiled eggs,goes well with fried rice or noodles.
Ingredients:
4 Eggs hard boiled.
For the Sauce:
1 tbsp Garlic (finely chopped)
2 tsp Ginger (finely chopped)
2 tbsp chopped Spring onion greens.
1 cup Vegetable stock or water.
1 tbsp Soy sauce
1 tbsp Tomato Ketchup.
1 tbsp Cornflour mixed with 1/4 cup of Water.
1 pinch of Sugar
2 tsp Oil.
Salt to taste
1 tbsp chopped Spring onion greens for garnishing.
Method:
Peel and cut hard boiled eggs into two.keep aside.
For the sauce :
Heat oil in a wok or frying pan on a high flame. Add the garlic and ginger,stir fry over a high flame for a few seconds.Add chopped spring onions green,stir fry for a minute.
Add the soya sauce and tomato sauce, saute fir a minute,add water/stock let it come to boil,add cornflour paste, sugar and salt and simmer for a few minutes till the sauce thickens.
Once the sauce thickens,add eggs and simmer for 2 minutes.
Remove in a serving bowl & garnish with chopped spring onion greens.
Serve hot with fried rice.
