Multi Grain & Oats Pudla.

Pudlas are easy to make pancakes made from Besan,spices and vegetables,here is a dish in which I have made some changes to make it little more healthy.

Ingredients:

2 Cups Multigrain Aata.(Easily available in market,I used Pilsbury Multigrain Aata)

1/2 cup Oats(mildly roasted).

1 tsp Chilli powder.

1/2 tsp Dhana-Jeera powder.

1/2 tsp Turmeric powder.

Salt to taste.

2 tbsp chopped Corriander leaves.

2 pinch Fruit salt.

Oil for smearing.

Method:

In a bowl mix together all the ingredients except oil and fruit salt.

Add water as required,consistency should be like dosa batter.

Keep aside for 10 minutes.

Heat a griddle and smear some oil on it.

Add fruit salt to the batter and mix well.

Make small pancakes out of this batter.

Cover and cook till crisp,flip around and cook on other side.

Finish the remaining batter the same way.

Seve hot with chutney or sauce.

Spanish Omelete

Ingredients:

4 Eggs.

1 Onion sliced.

1 Potato boiled,deskinned and sliced.

2 tbsp Corriander leaves chopped.

1 tsp Oil.

Salt and Pepper to taste.

1 tsp Oregano.

2 tbsp steamed corns for accompaniment.

Method:

Above ingredients makes 2 omeletes.Below is the method to make one omelete.

In a pan heat oil,add half onion slices and half potato slices,add salt and pepper.

Cook till they turn light brown and medium crispy.

Beat 2 eggs in a bowl,adding salt and oregano.

Add beaten eggs to cooked onions and potatoes,pull in the sides to make a thick omelete.

add half of the chopped corriander leaves.

Turn around and cook on other side.

Remove on plate and serve hot with steamed corns tossed in butter and bread of your choice.

Spicy Masala Eggs

 

Ingredients:

6 boiled Eggs.

1 tbsp Oil.

1/4 tsp Chilli powder.

1/4 tsp Turmeric powder.

1/4 tsp freashly ground Black pepper.

Salt to taste.

chopped Corrinder leaves for garnishing.(Optional)

Method:

Boil,peel and cut eggs into half.

Heat oil in a pan,add turmeric powder and chilli powder,add eggs cut side placing down.

cook for a minute or two on slow flame,turn around,sprinkle salt and pepper powder,cook for another minute or two.

Remove in a plate and garnish with chopped corriander leaves.(Optional).

Serve hot.

Tip:These eggs can be served with anything,tastes good even with plain Dal rice,can also be served as starters by inserting toothpick in them.
